But do underdogs truly have a tendency to win or is this narrative fueled by fiction more often than reality? In the first episode of this trio series, I explore how and what motivates an individual or team to put forth the effort to win or NOT put forth effort. We also begin to dive into why people are drawn to underdogs and their stories and how brands and people use it to their advantage.
